Our Profile
InnoValHC is an independent not-for-profit research organization that was established in 2005 by a group of scientists with medical, health economic, and econometric backgrounds, as well as hands-on management experience.
We provide independent analysis and develop solutions for complex challenges in the international and national health care ecosystems. Beyond our traditional focus on the economic dimensions of health (care), we broaden the perspectives of our work by including research into the normative foundations and the methods of health economics, their use in Health Technology Assessment (HTA), as well as the distinct insights from related fields, such as evidence-based medicine, comparative effectiveness research, patient-reported outcomes research, and disciplines such as the philosophies, psychology, and the broader social sciences.
Our Team
InnoValHC places extraordinarily high value on its independence from any particular interest group. The team has committed itself to a strictly scientific, non-partisan approach to the various projects.

Our Structure
The Institute´s scientific activities are led by its management team, supported by internal staff and visiting scientists. The board also provides scientific guidance and oversight of management and consulting projects carried out by our independent partner organizations.
