Join Our Team

The InnoValHC team is currently seeking young and/or experienced scientists who are willing to solve challenging problems in an international environment that is characterized by increasing public health care expenditures, in many countries driven by innovative (health) technologies, economic growth, and demographic changes.

In its scientific work, InnoValHC places extraordinarily high value on independence from any particular interest group. Coming from various backgrounds, including professional experience in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries, statutory health insurance, clinical practice in hospital and private settings, as well as university-based teaching and independent research spanning a broad range of fields including econometrics, business administration & management, clinical neurology & psychiatry, and experimental brain research, our interdisciplinary team has committed itself to a strictly scientific, non-partisan approach to the various projects (see Our Philosophy).

The Institute’s activities are overseen by three of its founders and the core team members, supported by a subsidiary "Management & Consulting Unit". Currently ongoing projects include, for example, research into normative foundations and methods of health economic evaluations, analyses of health economic and treatment strategies, and the (e)valuation of (innovative and established) technologies, devices and procedures, applying state-of-the-art tools to support effective patient-centered health care delivery and value-driven R&D (see Our Projects).
