The founders of InnoVal^HC place extraordinarily high value on their independence from any particular interest group. Coming from various backgrounds (including professional experience in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries, statutory health insurance, clinical practice in hospital and private settings, as well as university-based teaching and independent research spanning a broad range of fields including econometrics, business administration & management, clinical neurology & psychiatry, and experimental brain research), they have committed themselves to a strictly scientific, non-partisan approach to their projects.

Today, the Institute’s activities are overseen by three of its founders, acting as management board and scientific steering committee for the various projects:
