Applied Economic Evaluation
From its inception in 2005, the Institute and its members have been involved in applied health economic evaluations, ranging from cost effectiveness analyses (CEAs) and budget impact projections, health care utilization and costing studies, to complex willingness-to-pay analyses. Therapeutic areas covered include mental health care (in particular, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, ADHD), cancer, rare diseases, type 2 diabetes mellitus; the technologies covered range from biopharmaceutical products, psychotherapeutic interventions, advanced therapy medicinal products, complex organizational designs, to diagnostics and medical devices.
