The Institute and its members have been heavily involved in a broad range of projects, past and ongoing.
Applied Economic Evaluation
From its inception in 2005, the Institute and its members have been involved in applied health economic evaluations, ranging from cost effectiveness analyses (CEAs) and budget impact projections, health care utilization and costing studies, to complex willingness-to-pay analyses.
Industrial Economics
The work of our Institute and its members focus on contributing to a better understanding of the critical success factors of Research & Development (R&D), at the levels policy, portfolio, and project management, and on translating these insights into practice at all levels.
Education & Outreach
Apart from tailor-made courses and executive programs, the Heidelberg Health Economics Summer Schools have been a pillar of the Institute’s education and outreach activities since its foundation.
